DYK for Ida Sedgwick Proper
On 3 April 2016, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Ida Sedgwick Proper, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Ida Sedgwick Proper was a founding member of the feminist group Heterodoxy? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Ida Sedgwick Proper. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |

"Women are everywhere"
Hi Megalibrarygirl. I'm an editor of the Italian Wikipedia. I'm trying to participate to an IEG with the project "Women are everywhere". You will find the draft at this link https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:IEG/Women_are_everywhere It would be great if you could have a look at it. I need any kind of suggestion or advice to improve it. Support or endorsement would be fantastic. Many thanks,--Kenzia (talk) 17:30, 3 April 2016 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of List of people with surname Singh
The article List of people with surname Singh has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Not enough substance to remain article.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. RES2773 (talk) 23:59, 9 April 2016 (UTC)

Margaret Bell Houston
I am soooooo happy you created Margaret Bell Houston. I've actually been updating Margaret Lea Houston in a sandbox, for eventual nomination at WP:FAC. Her descendants are part of the section on her Legacy. I did not know about Margaret Bell Houston's accomplishments. I am very pleased with what you did. — Maile (talk) 23:49, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks, Maile66! I wish I had been able to find out more about her. I hit a wall with sources. I think if I dig into the Dallas Equal Suffrage Association, more will come up, though. :) Megalibrarygirl (talk) 23:52, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for April 19
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of people with surname Singh, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ajit Singh. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

A kitten for you!
Hi Megalibrarygirl, thanks for the thanks about my edit at Library book vandalism. i've just added the books project to the talkpage, after all it is about vandalising books, and have assessed the article as a start, allbeit a high one, as i am quite conservative when it comes to assessing articles, hope this is okay....
Coolabahapple (talk) 15:37, 19 April 2016 (UTC)
- Hi, Coolabahapple! Thanks for the kitten! I enjoy working with you and I appreciate your assessing the article. I'll probably add more to it if it isn't deleted. I found some good books in my library's collection to help the article. :) Megalibrarygirl (talk) 19:17, 19 April 2016 (UTC)
