Image copyright problem with Image:White_Phosphorus.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:White_Phosphorus.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. -- Carnildo 08:13, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Addington540.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Addington540.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Revert regarding Phil Angelides
[edit]I've reverted a recent addition you made to the Phil Angelides article (a copy of the change can be found here). The reason I did so was because I didn't believe it added any value to the article, and was unreferenced. If I have made an error, feel free to contact me on my talk page. Yours, TheJC TalkContributions 06:14, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
It might not have been your intent, but you recently removed content from Phil Angelides. Please be careful not to remove content from Wikipedia without a valid reason, which you should specify in the edit summary or on the article's talk page. Thank you. – Gurch 10:54, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
Arnold Schwarzeneggar and Ken Lay memo
[edit]Hi. You can remove the statement again if you like as I have no knowledge of the subject. The only reason I reinserted it was because you left no explanation in your edit summary about it, and I couldn't find any response from you to the other editor that had queried your earlier removal. Given the amount of vandalism on the page in the last few days, I wasn't sure if it was more of the same. As long as you have a valid reason everything is fine, however, you may wish to provide an edit summary in future to avoid similar situations. Thanks for clarifying the situation. :) Road Wizard 00:07, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
Chronology of world oil market events
[edit]Just to let you know, I have been working extensively on wikifying these articles for quite a while now, with User:Charlie Huggard in his sandbox under the title Timeline of World Oil Market events. We (like you) have merged the articles into decades, and have wikified almost everything, except for 2002-2003. 2001 was actually a copy job of 2000, so I am in the process of editing out the irrelavant content and wikifing it. Perhaps since we are working on the same goal, we could colaborate, and as our project is much farther along than yours, it would save you some time. What do you think? You can find our wikified articles here. Thanks! Green451 22:40, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the quick response, and welcome to the project! Yeah, I'm just editing from his sandbox at the moment, and when the pages are finished, I plan to Move them to the appropriate article names (e.g. "World Oil Market Events of the 1970s" or similar). I honestly had no idea what to do for the main page. If you have any ideas, feel free to try them out (after all, it is a sandbox, so we don't have to make it look pretty right now or anything). The only thing I might want to keep is that timeline graphic, as it's a pretty cool wiki feature that I never knew about until I came across WP:WIKIFY. As I mentioned earlier, 2001, like the other years, needs to be edited down to the relevant events, to keep down on the page size and to make it easier to read and follow. I've got a pretty good hand and editorial policy in place for that, so I'll keep slugging away at it. If you have any more questions, feel free to give a shout on my talk page. Thanks again! - Hi. I'm the guy who dumped a huge time-line here on Wikipedia and then abandoned it :-) I'm now back from a wiki-break, and itching to get this done. Please tell me where I can help you! mstroeck 16:16, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
Robert Card
[edit]Robert Card has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt this person might not be notable enough for an article. Please review Wikipedia:Notability (people) for the relevant guidelines. If you can improve the article to address these concerns, please do so.
If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the "prod" template, the article may be deleted without further discussion. If you remove the prod template, the article will not be deleted, but if an editor is still not satisfied that it meets Wikipedia guidelines, it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Medleysoul! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 49 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
