Problems with upload of File:Bravotelecom-logo2.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Bravotelecom-logo2.png. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Please do not use Wikipedia to promote businesses, such as you did in the article Bravo Telecom. Wikipedia is not a trade directory. If you want to list a company for potential customers to find, please consider alternative outlets. Thank you. Ben · Salvidrim!  20:13, 23 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ben · Salvidrim! I want let you know that I've flagged the republished page under Bravo Telecom because the company in Saudi Arabia is no more existing and outlinks are dead. See in backlog history of page (Company in Saudi Arabia is no more existing, instead there is Bravo Telecom in French https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bravo_Telecom) dated March 2015. I already discussed this case with Aerospeed and we agreed that it's more relevant to have the English version of french page about Barvo Telecom so I ask you to revert your changes please.
Thanks Meding46 (talk) 20:17, 25 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Under no circumstances should an article about a topic (the Saudi company) be over-written with content about another topic (the Canadian company). I've now split the articles: Bravo Telecom and Bravo Telecom (Saudi Arabia). Meding46, if you are paid or otherwise compensated for editing the Bravo Telecom article, or if you have a conflict of interest such as being an employee, you must make a disclosure of it. Please read WP:PAID. Ben · Salvidrim!  22:05, 25 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Ben · Salvidrim! I thank you for your understanding and I inform you that Not I'm not paid to promote Bravo Telecom but indeed I know the company very well as they're my provider for Internet Telephone and TV since 10 years, so I'll reach to them and make them aware that their page is planned for deletion. I'm sure we can improve this page by citing sources let me manage that. Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Meding46 (talkcontribs)
Thanks for the response. If you are not paid by or don't represent Bravo Telecom, why did you upload their logo citing the source as "author" a if it was your logo? Ben · Salvidrim!  22:36, 25 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
well I'm not expert for me Bravo Telecom is the Author as it appears on their website Right ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Meding46 (talkcontribs)
The "source" field should say exactly where you got the image. If you got it off of a page of the Bravo Telecom website, you should indicate a link to said page in the "source" field. It's not too late to fix that, please. :) Ben · Salvidrim!  23:25, 25 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Ben · Salvidrim! I've updated the source giving the url of Bravo Telecom website but still they are the author, Hope that helps Meding46 (talk) 16:53, 26 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for that. But anyways since the version you uploaded here not used anywhere and was a lower-quality duplicate of the version already uploaded on Commons (File:Bravo telecom logo.png), I've deleted the local copy as a lower-quality duplicate. :) Ben · Salvidrim!  22:04, 26 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
thanks Ben · Salvidrim! you are right this file is cleaner Meding46 (talk) 16:24, 27 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article Bravo Telecom has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced, does not meet notability criteria (WP:NCORP or WP:GNG)

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
