I just moved the note to the body of the article. There was a note before you edited the article on the fact that there are no documents whatsoever documenting the birthplace of Leonor or her siblings. Also, not all articles on medieval Portuguese history are a mess, particularly the one on Leonor which is pretty well referenced. I see you also edited Afonso I. No, your reversion of the bibliography was wrong in the article about Afonso I, since the 2nd edition of Mattoso's biography was published in 2007, not in 2014. You reverted that at your peril and got it wrong. If you want, I can send you a photo with the page of the book with the publication date (I have it with me...). (talk)

I also have the book, but away from home now so I can't check it...if so, all the refs have to be changed since they all have 2014, but since the page numbers may differ from one edition to the other I'll have to wait til I get home to double-check.--Maragm (talk) 20:17, 14 April 2017 (UTC)

Yes, the second edition (Temas e Debates) was published in May 2007. Perhaps the problem is the existence of a reimpression in 2014 of the same 2007 edition.

By the way, shouldn't we send Herculano's judgement to a chapter called "Legacy and popular culture"? It would be much more interesting there, in a text that approached the manipulations of the memory of the royal couple, from the propaganda of the Avis dynasty all the way to the present.
