Request reason:

Dear Admin my account has been blocked accusing me of using multiple accounts. This is ABSOLUTELY INCORRECT. I have only one account i.e. Mediabuzz. I may use multiple devices like mobile and laptop which may record different IP addresses in the Wikipedia system. Also, I have never abused on any page. The page that I created has also been deleted. This is very very disappointing for a new wikipeda contributor like me. Please review my case again. There is certainly some error. Kindly unblock my account

Thanks Yamla for providing me a direction to focus on. I finally read and tried to understand what sockpuppetery means and then I used xtools Editcounter to see these 2 usernames which you mentioned about : 1. Shanki1107 - This account has made only one edit so far. It was made on the day it was created i.e. 22nd Nov ! What behavioural or technical similarity did the blocking admin draw between this account and my account ? 2. Prasannakumarbg - This account was created long back on 20 April 2015. All this person has done is start various pages but none of them has grown beyond a stub status. Again no similarity which connects my account with this account. My account Mediabuzz was created on 30 Oct 2017 and I have edited around 10 pages so far mostly related to my subject of interest i.e. media and some pages related to city information and another related to an adventure sport. I had created a full fledge page : 'Saii Ranade Sane' following all wikipedia guidelines. Other pages had linked to my page too. But it seems this page has got deleted because of this block. I see no technical or behavioural connection between my account Mediabuzz and these other 2 accounts. I could not find any pages which me and these other accounts have commonly edited. Hence I request the admins to please re-look at this accusation and unblock my account as there is actually no evidence of sockpuppetery nor have I ( Mediabuzz ) been involved in any kind of vandalism. If required please go ahead and check IP address associated with my account Mediabuzz. Its good to be vigilant and alert but sometimes there could be false alarms, right ? I humbly request you to please please please let me continue contributing to Wikipedia. Given the confirmation at the SPI, and the use of VPNs below, and what appears to be a lack of willingness of CheckUsers to unblock you, I am declining your request. If you still believe your block isn't justified, you may appeal it to the Arbitration Committee by emailing them at arbcom-llists.wikimedia.org. Your IPs both belong to proxies so that isn't too terribly convincing of you. In fact, it's a strike against you.

Thanks for looking into my case Berean Hunter. Is it illegal to have proxy IP assigned to my computer while editing on Wikipedia ? I work for an MNC which installs VPN clients like Cisco AnyConnect on their employees' PCs and this assigns a proxy address in the company's subnet. Sometimes I edit on Wikipedia while connected on this VPN. This will show proxy IPs. If this is a problem, I can ensure that I am disconnected from company VPN before logging in to Wikipedia. Please check my current IP. I am editing without any VPN enabled so it should show my home wifi IP. But the main accusation against me is that I am using multiple accounts ( the 2 other accounts mentioned above. I have tried my best to prove that these accounts are not me ! Can you please have a look at the explanation that I have provided to prove that I am not involved in sock puppetery ? Also, I am sure the IP addresses that those 2 accounts use must be completely different from what I use. Can you please verify that ?
