Speedy deletion nomination of Donovan Shavis Born November 19

[edit]

Hello MediaMadiaBot,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Donovan Shavis Born November 19 for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Xx236 (talk) 06:36, 6 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely because it is being used only for vandalism. Furthermore, your username is a blatant violation of our username policy, meaning that it is profane; threatens, attacks or impersonates another person; or suggests that your intention is not to contribute to the encyclopedia (see our blocking and username policies for more information).

We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia, but users are not allowed to edit with inappropriate usernames and we do not tolerate 'bad faith' editing such as trolling or other disruptive behavior. If you think there are good reasons why these don't describe your account, or why you should be unblocked, you are welcome to appeal this block – read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page.

You can't have a username with "bot" in it. CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Sunasuttuq 07:32, 6 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • I've fixed the template here since the block is indefinite. It looks like the editor's only action was to try to add what appears to be a hoax article to Wikipedia - I can find nothing to substantiate the claims and offhand it's highly unlikely that a 14 year old would be hired of the chairman of a network or that he would host an awards show at 7 years old. It's possible that these are all things he came up with in his own time (ie, things he filmed with his friends in their backyard), but it's more likely that it's all a hoax.
It's possible that you can be unblocked, but you'd have to show that you understand the reasons for your block, pick a new username, and show how you will edit Wikipedia in a beneficial manner, however it looks like you're probably a very young editor and I'd personally recommend returning in a few years time when you're a bit older, given the situation.
