Soc314: Finalize Topic and Source Assignment
[edit]I will be adding to the Anne Carr Wikipedia page. The article about her only briefly touches on a few aspects of life as a feminist Catholic woman and does not go into depth about any of her contributions. I would like to add more details about some of the books she wrote and the impact she had as a faculty member at the University of Chicago Divinity School and feminist.

Living to be 73 before passing away in Chicago, Carr specialized in feminism theology regarding Catholic thought. During her lifetime she wrote ground breaking books which examined feminism and Christianity.

In her book Is a Christian Feminist Theology Possible? she establishes the importance of feminism to many religious women and their ability to be both a devoted Catholics and feminists.
