I work at Eastman Kodak Company and my name is Meagan Ramplin. I am interested in making some changes to our page to reflect our current updated business plan. I want to confirm with you the best way to make these changes. I've done some research and it seems as though using the Talk page is the best way to make these changes. How will I know that the change has been accepted? Some previous Kodak employees have made attempts but they never heard back. Would it be okay, after not hearing back for quite some time, to make the changes- assuming they are referenced properly? We have about six changes to make- can they all be done at once? Or should I space them out? I just want to go about this the proper way! I really appreciate your help in finding the best way to go about this all.

- You're right, proposing specific changes on the talk page is a good way forward: "Add X after paragraph Y, remove Z, hange W into U". The more specific your proposal, the more likely that it will be implemented - provided that it is backed up by reliable sources that are independent of Kodak itself, such as newspapers or reputable trade magazines (Wikipedia is not an "About us" page, after all, and that's the source your colleague presented back in July 2015). You can add the code
{{request edit}}
(including the curly brackets) to your proposal to raise awareness of your proposal among Wikipedia editors. - Please also take a look at the Terms of Use, particularly the section on "paid editing without disclosure", to make sure you don't accidentally violate the disclosure requirements (I appreciate your opennes on this page!). Great, thank you! I put in a request on Jeff Clarke (the business man)s page (Koadk's CEO) to make some changes about one of the boards he sits on. If you have any way of looking, I'm wondering if I've done it correctly. It looks like I was put in the COI page- why is that? Just want to do this right! - MeaganRamplinEKC, you have correctly submitted an editing request at Talk:Jeff Clarke (businessman). If it is not addressed by the end of the day I will go back and review it. Regards, Mkdwtalk 16:46, 30 August 2016 (UTC)

In addition to the one change I made on Jeff Clarke (business man)s page- I also wanted to add his picture. This picture was taken by a Kodak employed photographer, and we own the rights to it (I work at Kodak). Can I simply state that? Or would I need to provide some sort of legal statement proving this fact? Thanks so much. I'm new to Wikipedia and you guys have all been super helpful!!

- Follow the instructions at commons:Special:UploadWizard. You will need to submit your file under a CC-BY-SA license.--Launchballer 14:00, 31 August 2016 (UTC)
@Launchballer:
I'm still a little confused about it. Is this something I attach with the picture? Does it need to be customized? Or do I just say "Kodak owns the rights to this picture by way of a CC-BY-SA license" - Thanks for the speedy reply!MeaganRamplinEKC (talk) 14:07, 31 August 2016 (UTC)
- No, there should be a drop-down menu with a list of licenses on it. If Kodak owns the copyright, you will need to ask them to file a WP:UTRS ticket.--Launchballer 14:09, 31 August 2016 (UTC)
@Launchballer: It seems like the WP:UTRS is used if you are already blocked. Are you saying that if I upload the picture to Commons, as a representative of Kodak, it will get blocked? And then I'd need to ask to get it unblocked? Sorry, not getting it. MeaganRamplinEKC (talk) 14:19, 31 August 2016 (UTC)
- My sincerest of apologies, I meant WP:OTRS.--Launchballer 18:01, 31 August 2016 (UTC)
@Launchballer: Thank you! If you have a moment, can you quickly explain how it would work? I'm going to post the picture on Commons, with the CC-BY-SA license, stating exactly who owns it as well. Once the picture is in Commons, I would then go to the talk page on Jeff Clarke (businessman)s page and request that it be added? At what point does the WP:OTRS come into play? Again, thank you SO much for your patience with my learning this.
- You would upload the image, and add the phrase {{OP}} to it. Have Kodak send OTRS a ticket to the effect of "we submit this image under a CC-BY-SA license".--Launchballer 20:15, 1 September 2016 (UTC)
@Launchballer: Kodak doesn't have an official Wikipedia account though. I am acting as the Kodak representative. Is that not enough? MeaganRamplinEKC (talk) 13:40, 2 September 2016 (UTC)

I am about to upload a head shot of the CEO of the company I am currently employed by, Eastman Kodak Company, Jeff Clarke (business man) to his personal page. The picture I am uploading is owned by Eastman Kodak Company as it was taken by an employee here. I have been instructed by a Wikipedia volunteer to upload the picture, state in as much clarity the ownership, and submit the photo under a CC-BY-SA license, as a representative of Kodak (I have consulted our legal department). Can anyone please confirm that this is the proper procedure? Thanks SO much!
MeaganRamplinEKC (talk) 14:06, 2 September 2016 (UTC)
- It is, yes, as shown by the listed links in the first paragraph of WP:UPLOAD. SwisterTwister talk 19:12, 2 September 2016 (UTC)

There's one more step with the image licensing. You can read the response I left to your edit request. Best, Altamel (talk) 15:34, 8 September 2016 (UTC) Altamel

Just a quick question. I made an edit to the Kodak page with my username. My requests keeping automatically going to COI. Is there a reason for that? Am I doing something wrong?
Thank you!MeaganRamplinEKC (talk) 16:26, 12 September 2016 (UTC)

Hello, friend! What happens if something that is in a Wikipedia page is backed up by a link that no longer exists? Does that warrant removal?
Thank you!
