I have undone your cut and paste page move
[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Russian people in Israel a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Russian Jews in Israel. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 20:07, 5 September 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Turks in Germany. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains under way. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. Dr. K. 22:40, 17 September 2017 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to move pages to bad titles contrary to naming conventions or consensus, as you did at Turks in the Netherlands, you may be blocked from editing. Dr. K. 22:45, 17 September 2017 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you move a page maliciously, as you did at Turks in Austria. Dr. K. 22:48, 17 September 2017 (UTC)
Berbers in Morocco
[edit]Hello Meadulan, thank you for your contributions. I have undid your edit on Berbers in Morocco and remade it an article. The article is a stub, and I can understand that. But, the main Berbers article doesn't have a section on Moroccan Berbers. The Berbers in Morocco article does have a link to the main article, and visitors can follow that link. If possible, we can add a section on the Berbers article about Moroccan Berbers. Cocohead781 (talk) 03:01, 21 September 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Russian people in Israel, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Dr. K. 21:33, 24 October 2017 (UTC)
Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Russian people in Israel into Russian Jews in Israel. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 14:41, 25 October 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Iryna Harpy. Your recent edit to the page History of the Jews in Russia appears to have added incorrect information, so I have removed it for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Iryna Harpy (talk) 00:52, 26 October 2017 (UTC)
