Nugent-RajanBabu reagent nominated for DYK

[edit]

Hi Mcfliz, and welcome to Wikipedia! I was impressed with the article you created on bis(cyclopentadienyl)titanium(III) chloride (otherwise known as the Nugent-RajanBabu reagent). You may have noticed on the left hand side of the main page of Wikipedia, under the Featured Article, there is a section called "Did You Know". This is used to highlight recently created articles and articles recently promoted to good article status. The section is run by the "DYK" project, which you can read about at WP:DYK. I have nominated your article for consideration for an appearance on the main page. You can see the nomination that I have made at Template:Did you know nominations/Bis(cyclopentadienyl)titanium(III) chloride. You do not have to do anything – as the nominator, I will sort deal with any issues that arise – but you might like to follow along and comment if you feel like it. I want to do some work on the article, and will keep you informed. If you have any questions for me, you can post them below mine, and "sign" your name afterwards by adding ~~~~ (4 tildes) after your comments. The software turns this into a signature which a link to your user talk page (which is here). I hope to see you contributing more chemistry content, and thanks for your work so far! DYK for Bis(cyclopentadienyl)titanium(III) chloride

[edit]

On 6 July 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Bis(cyclopentadienyl)titanium(III) chloride, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the Nugent–RajanBabu reagent can be used to prepare a key intermediate in the synthesis of vinorelbine, a treatment for non-small-cell lung cancer? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Bis(cyclopentadienyl)titanium(III) chloride. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Bis(cyclopentadienyl)titanium(III) chloride), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
