- Re your arguments on my Talk page, you haven't shown the evidence; that is the problem with this article. I am a member of the Visual Arts Project so, to be honest, if there was any possibility of accepting your article I would have done so. If you disagree with Wikipedia's rules-of-thumb it is not the place, on my Talk page, to raise it. Personally I think the general rules are quite sensible and flexible, but we'll have to agree to disagree. Good luck with your future edits amd contributions! Sionk (talk) 14:49, 9 May 2012 (UTC)
- Not so; I have indeed shown evidence, in the links and references, for every statement in the article, though it may not be in the form you require. You (Wikipedia) appear to be saying that if someone else were to come along, look at the evidence, and publish a book or paper about it, then that would somehow magically make it legitimate. I'm suggesting that you (a knowledgable Wikipedia reviewer) can assess that same evidence directly. That, to my mind, is in many ways a superior confirmation. Mcflann (talk) 15:18, 9 May 2012 (UTC)
