Are you the same person who added Scout units 1171 to Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex?
[edit]If you are the person who did this under the IP address 71.170.181.119, I left you a message at User talk:71.170.181.119. You can reach me at User talk:LoneStarDavid. I also tried emailing the troop's "contact us" email address listed on their web page, but the mail bounced because the mailbox was full. Let me know when the mailbox is empty and I'll resend the mail. LoneStarDavid 22:03, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
AfD nomination of List of saddest songs
[edit]I have nominated List of saddest songs, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of saddest songs. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. List of saddest songs
[edit]Hi Mbradford! Per your request on the AFD, I have deleted the page and closed the discussion.
It is sad when a new user as yourself makes a good faith contribution, which meets a harsh fate, but as you see, the consensus is that the type of page you made is not suitable for an encyclopedia. In general, encyclopedia articles are held to high standards of verifiability, and avoidance of original research. In addition, one of the oldest principles of Wikipedia is that articles need to be neutrally written, which means that no one person's opinion can be given undue weight. To achieve this, articles need to be based upon sources of reasonable quality.
Nonetheless, thank you for your attempt, and good luck with your website! Yours, Sjakkalle (Check!) 15:13, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
