Excuse me? They are not vandalism. They are facts that can easily be backed up with several legitimate sources. I am failing to see how it’s “vandalism” if it’s accurate. There are several Wikipedia pages that state unpopular or unflattering facts, but they absolutely should not be excluded just because they’re uncomfortable truths.

There is one recent poll that says this, yes. But adding it without a source is just opinion, which is not permitted in Wikipedia articles. And in any case it does not belong at the disambiguation article, Susan Collins (disambiguation), or in the lead section of Susan Collins. I suppose it could be added somewhere in the "Fourth term" section of her article, with a source, but poll numbers are not usually included in articles about politicians (especially singling out one poll as opposed to any other poll result in her long career), and I suspect someone would probably remove it. -- MelanieN (talk) 05:38, 1 February 2020 (UTC)

It is not just one source. As I said, I could provide SEVERAL legitimate sources. Removing it is handpicking what readers consume to form a narrative and that is not right. Additionally, it is not just one poll. It is certainly not an opinion. Legitimate sources have been reporting this and her ratings have shown this several times throughout her career. How is this not a valid point? It belongs anywhere on her page. It is the reality and it is a well-covered fact. Maxwell48 (talk) 15:13, 1 February 2020 (UTC)

I found several sources, but they were all reporting the same poll. If we had a "Polling" section as some articles about politicians do, it would be perfectly appropriate. Personally I would not want to see us put in just one cherry picked poll when we have nothing to compare it to. But you can go ahead and add it to the "4th term" section with a reference if you want. It cannot be put in the lead section, however. That introductory section is just to summarize the most important stuff that is already in the body of the article.
