Some advice about your editing
[edit]Hello, and welcome to contributing to Wikipedia; I hope you will have a successful time here. Here are a few bits of advice relating to the editing you have started doing.
- The fact that you said on your user page "I’m currently trying to prove..." suggests that you are planning to publish original research here. However, Wikipedia policy is that original research is not allowed, and all article content should be verifiable by references to reliable sources which have already been published.
- Unfortunately ancestry.com is absolutely not a reliable source. The people who run the website are far more interested in building up a maximal amount of information than they are in verifying that the information is accurate.
- Since "Dödfödd" means "born dead", it is very unlikely that it was actually the name of the person referred to. Far more likely the word has been taken from some text which used it to mean "a child who was born dead", and erroneously read as a name. In the very unlikely event that the child really was given that name, we certainly need a reliable source saying so; extraordinary facts need very secure verification.
