Sports car
[edit]Please avoid adding "sports car" classification to WP articles. Many are duplicative. Your contributions also provide no reliable reference(s). For example, simply claiming in the edit summary that "Sport compact cars can also qualify as sports cars due ot their performance-oriented, but beginner-friendly nature" is not unencyclopedic. It is simply one of the Boastful Superlatives promoted by carmakers, their marketing agencies, and the adoring automotive media. Cheers, CZmarlin (talk) 16:20, 26 February 2022 (UTC)
Discretionary sanctions notification
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in gender-related disputes or controversies or in people associated with them. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages (including user talk pages) such as Talk:Depression Quest are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways based on reliable sources and Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. They are not for general discussion about the article topic or unrelated topics, or statements based on your thoughts or feelings. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. Sea Cow (talk) 01:56, 12 March 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Throast. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Salad Fingers, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Genres have the same verifiability requirements as any other content on Wikipedia. They must not be added according to what you believe is must suitable; they must be supported by reliable sources. If sources do not ascribe specific genres, we do not include them. [edit]Hello, I'm Ferret. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Yandere Simulator, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please don't comment on BLPs (living persons) in an edit summary like that again. -- ferret (talk) 21:12, 26 February 2023 (UTC)
