Cmyblogs, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Cmyblogs satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Cmyblogs and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Cmyblogs during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Notability of Cmyos
[edit]Hi there,
I appreciate you're willing to improve the article on CmyOS, but my point of view on the issue of notability stands. IMHO, one article from the mashable blog, with one single line talking about CmyOS, does not qualify CmyOS as notable (WP:N).
I don't want to sound rude, and please don't take me bad, but seeing that your article on Cmyblogs has been deleted, I have reasons to think that you have a conflict of interest (WP:COI) to keep the article on cmyOS up and running.
For the time being, I'll be waiting for more wikipedians to give some comments on this. I suggest you to cite more sources that assert the notability of CmyOS. Regards, Ivansanchez 22:50, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
- I second the analysis of Ivansanchez. When considering notability, content generated by the subject itself does not count. That leaves the one line mentioned above as third party coverage of Cmyos. I would submit that is clearly not enough to establish notability. Erechtheus 23:06, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
VerdaTech Energy Management & Consulting
[edit]A {{prod}} template has been added to the article VerdaTech Energy Management & Consulting, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. User A1 03:27, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
Hello,
I was the one who placed the afd request on VerdaTech Energy Management & Consulting, with regards to general notability. Could you please explain what your reasoning for the removal of this tag was, such that we can have a discussion regardingin this.
Thanks User A1 03:30, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
- The prod template ond VedraTech Energy Management & Consulting template has been reinstated, following its removal by yourself. I attempted to notiy you on the 6th sept, however I accidently placed the comment on your user page, rather than your talk page, and have subsequently replicated it above. Thanks User A1 15:49, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
- It was recently commented on my talk page that I have left this discussion incomplete. As such I have relisted VerdaTech Energy Management & Consulting in consideration for the articles for deletion process. As you are the creator of this article I am notifying you of my actions to give you the opportunity to present your opinions in this regard. Thankyou User A1 11:52, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
