Speedy deletion of Stephen soldz

A tag has been placed on Stephen soldz requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Hilbert's problems

The article Hilbert's problems is about a specific list of 23 problems posed by David Hilbert in 1900. None of these problems involves the notion of Hilbert space. If one did, it would be relevant to mention that in the discussion of that specific problem and add a wikilink from there. As it is, the only relationship between the Hilbert's problems article and the concept of Hilbert space is that the same person was responsible for both. Hopefully you will agree that it is not appropriate to add Serenade No. 10 for winds to the See also section of the article on Mozart's Requiem just because the former work is also due to Mozart. Hilbert was a prolific mathematician, and his name is connected to many things generally having no clear relation to his list of 23 important open problems: Hilbert algebra, Hilbert's arithmetic of ends, Hilbert's basis theorem, Hilbert basis (orthonormal basis), Hilbert basis (linear programming), Hilbert class field, Hilbert C*-module, Hilbert cube, Hilbert curve, Hilbert-style deduction system, Hilbert's irreducibility theorem, Hilbert manifold, Hilbert matrix, Hilbert modular form, Hilbert's Nullstellensatz, Hilbert number, Hilbert's paradox of the Grand Hotel, Hilbert polynomial, Hilbert projection theorem, Hilbert R-tree, Hilbert scheme, Hilbert space, Hilbert spectral analysis, Hilbert spectrum, Hilbert symbol, Hilbert's syzygy theorem, Hilbert's Theorem 90, Hilbert's theorem (differential geometry), and Hilbert transform.

Per Wikipedia:Overlinking, section What generally should not be linked:

In general, do not create links to the following.

• Plain English words, including common units of measurement... .
• ...
• Low added-value items are linked without reason—such as, 1995, 1980s, and 20th century. ...

The word "twenty-three" in the article is used in its plain dictionary meaning, as it is in thousands of other articles. There is nothing to be found in 23 (number) that is of specific interest in relation to the Hilbert's problems article. The fact that 23 (number) refers to that article is not of importance, For example, the article 12 (number) duly notes that the zodiac has twelve signs, and the year twelve months, but these articles do not link back to 12 (number). It is only when a number is discussed in an article as a number that such links become appropriate, as is the case, for example, for the link to 42 (number) from the Answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything.

Hello, the permission given on Talk:Stephen Soldz is not enough to comply with Wikimedia policy. If you have the original email, you might consider forwarding them to WP:OTRS so that a ticket can be issued... in fact Mr. Soldz still has to email permissions-en@wikimedia.org in order to verify that releases those pictures under the GFDL, since the email you posted makes no mention of it. Proposed deletion of Paul Hare

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Paul Hare, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. You really must try to stick to the issues. Your post on my talkpage, including tasteless links to a Bin Laden cartoon, is really unhelpful. Hi -- I don't think it is useful to readers to link words like "philosopher", "scientist", and "universe". Also it's just plain wrong to link "nebulous" to fuzzy logic. I am a wikipedia administrator myself and I know there is loz of vandalism "out there".
So I also appreciate that you started a discussion with me telling what were your thoughts about my last three revisionson the consciousness wikipedia article.
