TheRunawayGuys

[edit]

The Runaway Guys is collab (short for collaboration) channel on youtube. The channel consists of Chuggaaconroy (Chugga), Nintendocaprisun (NCS), and ProtonJonSA (Jon). The channel has existed since December 2nd, 2010, but wasn’t announced until February 4, 2011. They record multiplayer games at conventions, such as PAX Prime, PAX East, and Magfest, and record. They sometimes have fourth player special guests, some examples are JoshJepson (Josh), MasaeAnela (Masae), and Lucahjin (Lucah). They have played through, and 100% completed, Mario Party 1-4, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, New Super Mario Bros. U, Super Luigi U, Super Smash Bros. Brawl: The Subspace Emissary, and many others. They have done side collabs such as Fortune Street with special guests and the three of them playing Wheel of Fortune. They have hosted tournaments and have invited many Let’s Players(person who does makes Let’s Plays(walkthroughs of video games)) to participate in these tournaments. They have made tournaments for Super Smash Bros: N64 and Brawl, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Mario Power Tennis, and Bomberman Live: Battlefest. They have created catchphrases in most of their projects, which include: D’oh I missed (Mario Party), Jesus Frosting (New Super Mario Bros. Wii), SLIPPERY F***ING SHOES (Super Luigi U) Y’know IN THE BATHROOM (All of them). In the Super Mario/Luigi Series, Chugga has written cartoon theme song parodies, and has sung them as the intros for the second episodes. They are Meet JoshJepson (Meet the Jetsons), Meet the Timstones (Meet the Flintstones), Runawayniacs (Animaniacs). They have hosted a panel they call Thrown Controllers at PAX and Magfest when they can. On random occasions, they have done live recordings on Twitch TV of Mario Party, Wheel of Fortune, etc. Chugga edits and uploads their videos, and Jon tracks the stats (deaths, causes of death, who got collectibles, etc.).
