Autonomy Corp
[edit]Hi. I see from your recent comment at Talk:Autonomy Corporation that you are the formerly-anonymous editor User:212.44.26.81 (same comment) who has claimed to be Michael Richard Lynch. To help you be a successful editor at Wikipedia, I wanted to point out our Wikipedia:Autobiography guidelines. In a nutshell, it is strongly discouraged for editors to edit articles about themselves or things (such as companies) with which they are or have been involved. Contributing to discussion about those articles on their talk pages is encouraged however, as the subjects of articles often have insights that other editors can use to improve the article.
As a separate issue, please sign your posts on talk pages and put new comments below other comments to preserve chronological order. Thanks. — Saxifrage ✎ 16:52, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- Do not remove messages from your Talk page that have to do with Wikipedia policy. In extreme or persistent cases this is considered vandalism and can result in banning. Instead, it would be better for you to respond to such messages constructively. — Saxifrage ✎ 16:01, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
- PLEASE NOTE This user is not M R Lynch as claimed... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.129.78.9 (talk • contribs) August 8, 2006
