Speedy deletion nomination of Westside studio
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Westside studio requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Ramaksoud2000 (talk to me) 00:48, 18 January 2012 (UTC)

re:westside studio
[edit]My goal for this article is not to try and sell our photographers, but maintain a "working history" of our company, something which I feel Wikipedia would be the ideal host.
Perhaps my post (as it was/is) is too short for initial placement on Wikipedia, and I will continue to build my "code" for future proofing.
My intentions for the article breakdown is as follows:
- The Studio: Will focus on general studio history, company history/ beginnings
- The Photographers: An up-to-date list and mini bio of each of our photographers with ext-links to their portfolios on westsidestudio.com
- The Staff: Same as above but on our in-house staff of photo reps and producers <-- this would come as a future edit
If you have any recommendations for me please let me know.
RE:Westside Studio
[edit]I read the COI already, and the page that I am looking to create for Westside Studio will be very similar to the page that other studios like Smashbox Studios and Quixote Studios. There is a difference in that our studio represents photographers rather than renting equipement but I cant see how our article would be any more conflicting than either of theirs. Would it be more suitable for me to do this from a user that is not registered with an @westsidestudio.com email? Mattsleblanc (talk) 01:11, 18 January 2012 (UTC)
