John Howard

[edit]

Freezing little Johnny for Posterity

[edit]

- Way Forward you must mean Way Backward how dare anyone use such a progressive expression here of all places in an article on a conservative like John Howard even in a talkback page. I think we should leave the article frozen for good so John Howard can drift off into a well deserved retirement. So I ask you what does such an emminent statesmen really deserve: all of this controversy or a banal obsurity? - The Queen after all has already had the last word by failing to give him his knighthood. God bless her royal arse! - I for one am happy never to return nor add to his infamy so long as he remains more or less permanently cryogentic. :-) - The only Prime Minister for whom it could undoubtedly be said: "A man who's vision for Australia was exceeded only by his stature!". LOL. Mattjs (talk) 22:56, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I want my grand kids to see him on display and stuffed at the Australian Museum. LOL. Mattjs (talk) 23:12, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia and the articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Talk:John Howard. Readers looking for serious articles will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, try the sandbox, where you can write (almost) whatever you want. A tag has been placed on What is America? requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G6 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an orphaned disambiguation page which either

  • disambiguates two or fewer extant Wikipedia pages and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic); or
  • disambiguates no (zero) extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
