regarding copyright violation: if the content of an article comes too close to summarizing in detail the statements of another author whose work is copyrighted, that can be a copyvio. there is an argument (not always held to here), that plot summaries for books and movies can be copyright violation. WP tends to err on the side of caution, as we cannot have known copyright violations here. this is not the main problem with this article, though it may well be significant. its that the words here are YOURS, not brief summaries of other authors analysis of this book. thus its your research. if and when your research becomes notable, it can be summarized here. otherwise, publishing here of original research is forbidden. If you want to incorporate work on WP with a class, i suggest you contact an admin about how this done (its apparently somewhat routine in some cases). the most obvious thing to do here is to collect references on the author of this book, and the book, showing its notability. if you think that by WP standards she or the book show notability, you can create an article on the author or book. i have not looked for any references myself, so i cannot speak to the likelihood, but this subject seems somewhat obscure to me, so good luck. i strongly urge you to review guidelines on article creation, look at some stub articles on subjects close to this one, as well as longer articles, and get a feel for how things work here. we always need good contributions. starting out this way is not the best way to start, and gives the impression that you are trying to promote yourself or a nonotable subject. start with small copyedits at least, or adding small sourced items in an area you already know about and are confident that a neutral observer would feel are notable. I often just add an isbn or accurate publishing info on books listed here that i own. Mercurywoodrose (talk) 02:37, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
