[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. ~ Araratic | talk 01:56, 11 November 2018 (UTC)
- I'm not sure if you have seen my reply on my talk page but I'll add it here too. Makes sure you fix the problems before republishing your edit. Thanks
Hi MattA Official, thanks for contacting me. There were mainly two problems with your edits:
- Firstly all edits to Wikipedia must be verifiable by reliable sources.
- Secondly, they should conform to the manual of style, the link is a bit length and I don't expect you to read it. In summary Wikipedia articles all have a consistent format that should be followed, Wikipedia is not meant to look like a webpage but an encyclopaedia. Thus, prose is generally preferred over short dot points and the table of contents must be kept. Take a look at the "iPhone X" article for a good example of how the article should look.

Anglian Learning moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Anglian Learning. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability, you may have a possible Conflict of Interest and Needs independent references and also WP:SIGCOV. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. GPL93 (talk) 03:39, 29 January 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, MattA Official, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Fraz900 (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 02:17, 30 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @Liz, I do not operate multiple accounts, and I have not purposefully coordinated with another user. Thanks! MattA 10:54, 30 January 2024 (UTC)
Anglian Learning moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Anglian Learning (2). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it is promotional and reads like an advertisement and you may have a possible Conflict of Interest. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. GPL93 (talk) 15:00, 30 January 2024 (UTC)
Custom signature fix needed
[edit]Hi there! You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. Changes to Wikipedia's software have made your current custom signature invalid.
The problem: Your signature contains a syntax error or obsolete HTML tags.
The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, you can fix your signature, or you can do nothing.
Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:
- Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
- Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
- Remove anything in the Signature: text box.
- Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page. (Do not click the red "Restore all default settings" button, which will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)
Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:
- Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
- Click the button next to the error to learn how to fix the error.
- Update your signature to fix the error.
- Click Save to update to your newly fixed signature.
Solution 3: Do nothing:
- In accordance with a recent request for comment, all invalid signatures will be changed to the default, which looks like "Example (talk)", one month from now.
If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Signatures. Thank you! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 06:05, 2 February 2024 (UTC)
Wikipedia's conflict of interest guideline, and related matters
[edit]Hello, MattA Official. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. JBW (talk) 21:06, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
- What is your connection to the person using the account "Fraz900"? JBW (talk) 21:06, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for your message, @JBW. I appreciate your concern, but I can assure you that I have no conflict of interest with the topics I have edited. I am not affiliated with Fraz900 or any other account, and I have not received, and do not expect to receive, any compensation for my contributions. I have followed the Wikipedia policies and guidelines, and I have disclosed any relevant information on my user page. I have no intention of promoting or advertising anyone or anything on Wikipedia. I only want to improve the quality and accuracy of the articles. MattA (talk) 23:49, 7 February 2024 (UTC)

Request reason:
I acknowledge that I know the IRL holder of the Fraz900 account, but we are not affiliated on the platform nor have engaged in any coordinated editing. We have some overlap in topics of interest, but have not discussed contributions or other actions; I apologise if this has caused confusion.
Decline reason:

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

The article Anglian Learning has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No evidence whatever of satisfying Wikipedia's notability guidelines. Almost all of the references are either pages on the web sites of the business or the schools it owns or else mere listings on a government web site. The few exceptions are not substantial coverage.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 8 February 2024 (UTC)
Some comments relating to the block and your statements about it
[edit]- There's no point posting the same comments in two places, but for anyone who is interested I'll just say that I've left some comments on the talk page of the other account set up to work collaboratively with this one. JBW (talk) 10:03, 8 February 2024 (UTC)⁸
