[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Miss Universe 2009, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Please do not add copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Binibining Pilipinas 2009. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did to Miss Universe 1994, you will be blocked from editing.

Images
[edit]Most of your photos have incomplete description, and may be lacking other information. Media should have a summary to inform others of the content, author, source, and date if possible. If you know or have access to such information, please add it to the corresponding image page. I found this Wikipedia Filipino group called Wikipedia:Tambayan Philippines, you can ask assistance to Filipino editors on how to post and properly put the descriptions to your images in the Tambayan Philippines Discussion, since this is not my area of expertise. I have never posted any images in Wikipedia.
This is to inform you also that I have deleted some items that you have created or added in some articles because they did not meet the specifics in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style.
Thank you and welcome to Wikipedia, I hope you enjoy your stay. Please read the Wikipedia:Manual of Style repeatedly. Remember that any entries that you put in Wikipedia will be deleted sooner or later if its not in accordance to the manual of style.--Richie Campbell (talk) 13:50, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
Image permission problem with Image:2009 sponsors.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:2009 sponsors.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the image (or other media file) agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the GFDL or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the image to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the image has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the image's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Images lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Geoff Plourde (talk) 05:08, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
Blanking Miss Universe 2009
[edit]Is there some reason you are blanking this article? You know, because others have edited it, you cannot delete it outright. Cheers. Zzyzx11 (talk) 14:37, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Turismo Pilipina
[edit]A tag has been placed on Turismo Pilipina requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. We don't do adverts
[edit]You cannot write an article as an advert for the school, we only write factual relevant information and we don't include lists of events or the like as you are trying to do. In addition, what is this suppose to be? --Cameron Scott (talk) 07:11, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
Tables
[edit]I would like to request if you can transform the info from Miss Earth 2001 up to 2007 editions into tables just like the tables in the Miss Earth 2008 and Miss Earth 2009. I have seen your works and you're good in doing tables. The entries about delegates, winners/semifinalists, and judges would be great if they are in tabulated form.Please take note of the following Wikipedia guidelines as an FYI, when doing the tables and any edits in general:
- Do not use unnecessary boldfaces (e.g. Argentina to Argentina) in the Miss Earth 2009 in lined with Wikipedia MOS:BOLD guidelines; use boldface only in headings, sections/subsections, table headers, definition list, and volume numbers. One of the most common mistakes in most articles in Wikipedia related to beauty pageants (like Miss Universe and Miss World, Miss International, and Miss Earth is the use of boldface when stating the name of participating countries and this is a clear violation with the Wikipedia: Manual of style.
- When a flag icon is needed more than once, the flag-and-name template, for example
{{flag|Japan}}
, or its shorter variant{{flag|JPN}}
should be used first, but may be reduced to{{flagicon|JPN}}
in subsequent uses. See more details in this Wiki link: MOS:FLAG.
- Please provide a summary in your edits to better understand your revisions/edits. Take note that a minor edit box signifies that only superficial differences exist between the current and previous versions: typo corrections, formatting and presentational changes, rearrangement of text without modification of content, et cetera. While, by contrast, a major edit is one that should be reviewed for its acceptability to all concerned editors. Therefore, any change that affects the meaning of an article is not minor, even if the edit concerns a single word; for example, the addition or removal of "not", which can change the meaning of a sentence, is a major edit. See WP:MINOR for more details. Let me know of your feedback. I hope to hear from you. Thanks.--Richie Campbell (talk) 01:24, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
Thank you
[edit]Matt,
Even though you have not completed the work, I would like to commend you for the immediate response to my call. The Miss Earth articles from 2001-2007 really need degree of revisions. I will be looking for more notable details and credible references to add to the articles (from 2001-2007), but I will leave to you the tables of judges, candidates, and list of winners/top 16 to do the work. Take note that in 2004, the list of judges can be found on the top part of the article. I will just do some improvements to the tables once you're done to adhere with the Wikipedia Manual of Style MOS:BOLD. Let me know once you have completed all the tasks. If you have questions, don't hesitate to make a message in my user talk page. You may want to read the entirety of the Wikipedia:Manual of Style as your guide in editing. The first lesson is, when posting a message to any user talk page, you don't need to manually type your name at the end of your message. First go to a specific user talk page or to the discussion page of a particular article; once you're in a talk page or a discussion page, just look at the 22 icons above: bold, italics, internal link, external link, and etc. On the 10th icon click that icon (it says "your signature and time stamp" when you point your cursor to that icon). Once you have saved your message, it will automatically appear your name to it, including the time of your message. Try it! Thank you and I hope you continue the table work whenever you find time to do it.--Richie Campbell (talk) 15:23, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
Great job
[edit]Hi Matt,
Thank you for the doing a geat job in the Miss Earth 2001-2007! I like what you have done in the Special Awards in Miss Earth 2008 article. I was supposed to tell you about it, but you read my mind. If you can also make a table for the judges for Miss Earth 2004 artilce. The 11-man board of judges: Miss Earth 2003 Beauty for a Cause awardee, Vida Samadzai, Noel Lorenzana of Unilever Philippines, Stefan Voogel of Intercontinental Manila, Kit Ti LIan of Avon Color, Lorraine Timbol, Journalist Media Arts Systems and Services Co., Regina Paz Lopez of ABS-CBN Foundation, Chin Chin Gutierrez, actress and environmentalist, international singer-actor Leo Valdez, Deborah Landey of the United Nations Development Programme, Freddie Garcia of ABS-CBN, and Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Cesar Purisima. Thank you!--Richie Campbell (talk) 15:38, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, that's wonderful! I sent an email to your email address already and also some messages in your YM. Check it out.--Richie Campbell (talk) 02:48, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

The file File:Balayan Nat'nl.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
unused, low-res, no obvious use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 23 July 2019 (UTC)
