Ethnic numbers
[edit]Please do not change ethnic population and percentage numbers, as you did with this edit to the West Azerbaijan Province article, without (1) having a reliable source and (2) discussing it on the talk page of the article. Ethnicity is a very touchy subject. Ethnic data is inherently controversial. (WikiProject Ethnic groups says: "Let's be clear: ethnicity is a minefield.") "All material that is challenged or likely to be challenged needs a source." The ethnic data in the West Azerbaijan Province article was cited to sources. If you believe that you have a better, higher quality, source, then you need to present your arguments in favor of the change on the article's talk page. If you believe that a cited source is not a reliable source, challenge it on the talk page, do not just remove it. The reliability of sources is discussed at the Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard. If you have a question about this, please feel free to ask me about it on my talk page. Remember, the Wikipedia moves forward by consensus. By the way, my edit of 23 June reverting User:Haghal Jagul did not introduce new numbers, but restored those that had been there before. --Bejnar (talk) 00:04, 28 June 2014 (UTC)
- This ethnic composition has a relible source and I only applied it. Another people has manipulated this statictics and I have corrected them. tnx.Matreeks (talk) 18:25, 9 August 2014 (UTC)
Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Turkic people of Iran
[edit]FYI, I have created the following page after an IP editor requested the page be nominated for deletion. I have no opinions on the outcome myself, but am notifying you here in case you want to contribute to the discussion. It can be found at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Turkic people of Iran. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Khorasani Turks into Turkic people of Iran. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. —Odysseus1479 21:49, 1 November 2016 (UTC)

If you believe that this block was in error, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below. - It is a lie to censor my thoughts in Wikipedia. I think there is here a mafia force to limited who think in another way. Bad for Wikipedia. Matreeks (talk) 06:17, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
- Except that (unless you have two or more heads on your one body) you are not entitled to create multiple accounts in order to pretend that multiple editors hold the same thoughts as you in an AfD discussion. Tiptoethrutheminefield (talk) 15:29, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
