[edit]Hello. I've posted about it on the talk page, but don't add material without a source (see WP:RS). We also don't use IMDb as a source on Wikipedia (see WP:RS/IMDb). This is why I've changed your edits. Andrzejbanas (talk) 11:53, 18 September 2023 (UTC)
- Hello,
- I understand there is no problem the reason is correct. However, I was wondering. I can use Google look at the link :Beneath the Planet of the Apes
- or chat GPT which gives me this "Genre : Science Fiction" "Subgenre: post-Apocalyptic Science Fiction . What do you think ? Matirosta (talk) 06:48, 19 September 2023 (UTC)
- It doesn't matter what some online aggregator states (and I didn't know I had to say this, but do NOT use ChatGPT for any sources on this site!). You need to find a reliable source to add content on wikipedia. I would suggest reading WP:RS before contributing further. If you have any questions about what does qualify or does not qualify as a reliable source, I'll be happy to help. Just ping me. :) Andrzejbanas (talk) 12:13, 20 September 2023 (UTC)

- Hi again. For the record, do not use Reddit, Letterboxd as sources. Try to use an established film database, rather than ones driven by user-input. Thank you. Andrzejbanas (talk) 13:50, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
- Hi In letterbox it is not the users who create the film profiles. They only comment on the films.
- Look at their Wikipedia entry...... I don't see the problem with the subgenre of the films that you deleted. The first time, you were right about IMDB, but now you are exaggerating and the site is recommended in the sources for Wikipedia. No user can change the subgenre of movies in letterbox. This site has the best ranking for subgenres I have done them all. Afterwards, since you're a great boss, I'm not going to fight with you over that. You probably lack a little understanding, but that's how it is. It's a shame, because I was going to redo all the work I had done. But you managed to discourage me. I wish you good luck in removing what I did, because all the subgenres since 1950 to 2023 all come from IMDB. Looking forward to it and have a good day. Matirosta (talk) 18:43, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
