Speedy deletion of Maxwell Jerome Greene
[edit]A tag has been placed on Maxwell Jerome Greene requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Digital Mischief 02:54, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

[edit]You should wait for others to write an article about subjects in which you are personally involved, as you did at Maxwell Jerome Greene. This applies to articles about you, your achievements, your band, your business, your publications, your website, your relatives, and any other possible conflict of interest.
Creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged. If you create such an article, it might be listed on articles for deletion. Deletion is not certain, but many feel strongly that you should not start articles about yourself. This is because independent creation encourages independent validation of both significance and verifiability. All edits to articles must conform to Wikipedia:No original research, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and Wikipedia:Verifiability.
If you are not "notable" under Wikipedia guidelines, creating an article about yourself may violate the policy that Wikipedia is not a personal webspace provider and would thus qualify for speedy deletion. If your achievements, etc., are verifiable and genuinely notable, and thus suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later. (See Wikipedia:Wikipedians with articles.) Thank you. faithless (speak) 03:18, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Maxwell Jerome Greene. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. DoubleBlue (talk) 01:33, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, such as Maxwell Jerome Greene, you will be blocked from editing. Re-creating articles which have been tagged with Speedy Deletion notices, without addressing the notability concerns, as listed here: WP:BIO will only result in additional deletions. Please take some time to read the links provided on User_talk:Mathamax before investing additional time in the creation of articles which do not meet Wikipedia guidelines. Best regards.
