Hello, MathDementor, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Brianda and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. Thank you! And, thank you for your recommendations tonight during class.
Dr. Grady shared her press kit with me which has some photos. Am I permitted to use those? MathDementor (talk) 03:10, 2 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Siobahn Day Grady feedback

[edit]

Hi @MathDementor, I checked out your outline and so far seems like you are on track. Keep in mind, your writing for Wikipedia will summarize what independent, reliable, secondary sources have said about a topic, so that a Wikipedia reader can get an overview of the current thoughts and understanding of that topic. The goal is to provide a neutral, fact based summary of the topic at hand based off the reliable sources you've found on Siobahn Day Grady. I didn't see many sources listed on the sandbox, so below are a few that I found after a quick search.

You can check out this training module for a quick refresher on what's considered a reliable source. Also check out the article Marsha Rhea Williams as a good example to follow when structuring your article, and for a clear, neutral writing style. Feel free to reach out with any questions, just remember to ping me. Looping in @9Starbucks. Brianda (Wiki Ed) (talk) 15:52, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I am still learning where things are here.
Gotcha about the sources. I'll go back and make some adjustments. Is it okay to include links to websites referenced?
I think I need some help understanding what images I can use. The pictures I uploaded are from Dr. Grady. I know she didn't take them and I know I didn't take them.
How do I insert a box like the one on Marsha's page?
Thanks! MathDementor (talk) 21:01, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:20220305 Day Exhibit 0201.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:20220305 Day Exhibit 0201.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 19:30, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
