[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 11:23, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
CPR
[edit]Hi there,
I noticed your edits to Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, but unfortunately i have had to revert them to the previous version. There are several rules at Wikipedia that we have to abide by, and unfortunately your edits didn't meet the requirements. The first major problem is that everything that is written needs to be based on solid third party information, from reputable and consistent sources, and first hand experience, knowledge and information isn't acceptable. For more information, have a look at WP:V, WP:CITE and WP:NOR.
There is also a rule relating to common names, which you can find at WP:COMMON, where the most common name is used in articles. Other names can be used an referenced, and in special cases (mostly those around misuse of a term, or variations and conflicts between countries), the article will refer to the lesser known term.
I hope that helps, and if you have some quality referenced articles (textbooks and academic journals are preferred) to support the existence of the alternative name, we'd be interested to see them.
Any questions, feel free to leave a message on my talk page! Regards, OwainDavies (about)(talk) edited at 12:52, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of German veterinary schools
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on German veterinary schools requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. ~ Isarra (talk) (stalk) 21:19, 8 April 2011 (UTC)
