Hello, thanks for your article. I'm afraid there are some problems with it and I wanted to discuss them with you:

I’m a bit concerned that this person might not be notable enough to qualify for a Wikipedia article. That link goes to a guide, but basically any coverage of an on here is supposed to be based on being covered as a major figure in their field, and cited to reliable sources proving it. This is a very different style of writing to a university press release, which may explain why you're having problems.
A lot of it reads like a press release or promotional copy, not a factual encyclopaedia article.
It's a copy of your copyrighted website. Even if you wrote it, this is a problem, since copyrighted text can't normally be reused on Wikipedia. (Here's the guide on this.) You need to write a paraphrase.
