Speedy deletion nomination of BigPicture
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on BigPicture requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Razer(talk) 15:50, 14 May 2018 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Martin DE. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. power~enwiki (π, ν) 23:31, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
Thanks, Power~enwiki, I'm now aware of the COI-related guidelines. I found Jira pretty much no-man's land, and the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jira_(software) entry seemed to support this notion. The software, even though increasingly popular (see Google Trends) has virtually not been touched by mainstream authors, such as New York Times. Martin DE (talk) 12:06, 27 July 2018 (UTC)
Ways to improve BigGantt
[edit]Hi, I'm Devopam. Martin DE, thanks for creating BigGantt!
I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Please make the article an interesting read instead of a catalogue, in current shape. Declare WP:COI on talk page. Do the same to BigPicture article as well to avoid AfD.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Nomination of BigPicture for deletion
[edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article BigPicture is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/BigPicture until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. [edit]Tools in the project management comparison table
[edit]Hello. I writing here because I see you added software in the project management comparison table (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_project_management_software). I was wondering why this comparison table does not contain https://www.5pmweb.com and https://www.getsmartq.com tools. I spent a lot of time trying applications from the table without luck. Is it possible to add the above tools to the table, maybe this will save a lot of time for somebody? Thanks!
