[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article De La Salle Collegiate High School, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. When adding notable alumni to a school's article, you must show both that the subject is a notable person and that they attended the school in question. The Martinezes were not notable and were not supported by a source. —C.Fred (talk) 02:41, 23 November 2010 (UTC)
- WP:ATHLETE deals with the specifics for the notability of athletes. As a general rule, college athletes are not notable. Being the best athlete at a particular school does not equate to being notable for Wikipedia purposes. The lack of an article on either athlete further indicated their lack of notability. With no article to check the references for and no source provided with the addition to the school's article, the verifiability requirement was not met. —C.Fred (talk) 20:12, 23 November 2010 (UTC)
