This question may be beyond the scope of what is reasonable to ask, but I will ask anyway !!. I believe that my employer and my work colleagues would benefit greatly from implementing something like Wikipedia to manage and develop the existing library of more than 1,000 "controlled documents" that contain key intellectual property about engineering design, procurement, construction, maintenance and operation (not to mention the glossary of defined terms and jargon which runs to more than 80 pages !). Are there verifiable references to any large corporate that has successfully implemented a Wiki that is broadly similar in functionality to Wikipedia, or to any consultancy that has a track record of leading developments in this area ?? If this is not the best place to ask, where should I try next ? Marshelec (talk) 07:39, 13 November 2011 (UTC)
I am finding difficulty with a cite web reference to a pdf document. I have checked the formatting several times, but cannot get this to produce the normal reference listing. The problem is shown with reference number 2 in my Sandbox. Can I please have someone assist me in sorting this out. No doubt it is simple, but I have not been able to resolve. Thanks in anticipation Marshelec (talk) 20:46, 10 January 2012 (UTC)
Fixed with this edit. The templates don't work correctly if you have a newline in the middle of the "title" field. I've also filled in more of reference 6, which was missing its final curly brackets. -- John of Reading (talk) 22:15, 10 January 2012 (UTC)
