User talk:Marlon Fire Thunder/Warning 1. By Ami Daniel
Response to apology
It's no problem at all--lots of respected users got off to fairly rough starts. In the future could you please sign your posts with four tildes, like so: Marlon Thunder Fire 13:20, 15 May 2006 (UTC). That will produce your username and the time, and it makes it a lot easier for others to contact you. Again, I'm always here to help and will gladly provide any assistance you need, including answering questions you may have about policies and the way things work on Wikipedia. Good luck in the future, and I hope you'll soon learn the ropes and will be able to effectively contribute. Happy hunting! AmiDaniel (Talk) 02:14, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
Sugestion for archieving
Please keep things that belong in userspace out of the mainspace. Thanks. AmiDaniel (talk) 05:08, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
Disscusion about removing Titles and names from Ami Daniels talk page.
I generally observe very strict no censorship rules on my talk page, as it serves not only as a way for others to contact me, but also as a log of my previous actions. If, for instance, the process surounding the deletion of <Title Removed> ever came into question, these messages would come in useful. If you feel it necessary, however, I will remove any mention of your site's web address from my talk page, but I'd prefer to keep the rest of the messages intact. You should be aware that all of your contributions to Wikipedia will remain on the site in some form, such as in an article's history, unless the history is deleted from the article--this is necessary to fulfill GFDL requirements. Regarding Your Contributions
[edit]We would certainly welcome your contributions; however, it seems as though your only intention here is to contribute information about <Title Removed> It has already been decided by many other editors that the <Title Removed> is not notable enough to warrant an encyclopedia article, and it is in any case not prohibited to continuously recreate the article after it has been deleted. If you belief the article to be notable enough, please nominate it for undeletion, do not recreate it again or continue to add information about the magazine into articles without first gaining consensus to do so, as such actions are considered vandalism. Please understand that Wikipedia is not a vessel for advertising or self-promotion, it is an encyclopedia. Furthermore, it is strongly discouraged that users write about projects in which they have direct involvement (see WP:AUTO). Here are also some good links for newcomers:

Please Do Not Remove Warnings
[edit]- As I see that you and your associates are also trying to remove other comments strewn about Wikipedia, I might point out that you do have the right to vanish. If you choose to exercise it by requesting a username change and moving respective user and user talk pages, I will then archive the contents of your messages to a subpage and blank it, so that I will have the messages for reference but they will not appear in Google's site indexing. Please be aware, however, that by choosing to vanish you will no longer be able to contribute to Wikipedia through this username. AmiDaniel (talk) 01:08, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
- But an IP address (67.86.180.171) can't "vanish", can it? Nationalparks 01:17, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
