These look like good starting points - - though you'll need more objective and helpful sources. I think, especially for the "Criticism" section, you'll want to start collecting book reviews etc. Good places to search: on the SFSU library website - - MLA International Bibliography; Literature Resource Center; Literary Sources. All three are full of interesting articles about Urrea. Remind me in class, and I'll walk you through the search tools. Profhanley (talk) 18:17, 19 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I really like that you added the criticism section to your author's page. I agree that It really adds a great deal to the page itself and also make outside connections to the author's work. Overall the page looks pretty good.

One thing I thought could use some work was citing. In particular the statement "In two heavily researched historical novels, The Hummingbird's Daughter and Queen of America, Urrea tells the story of his great-aunt, Teresita Urrea, who was known as "The Saint of Cabora" and "The Mexican Joan of Arc"." was not cited to begin with so I find that maybe it would be useful to actually cite this statement if you can.

Otherwise, the page seems good.

With your article edit you did a good job with the new addition of the criticism section. Most popular writers have this section because it works to provide an unbiased page, acting as a counterbalance to the awards section. As far as formatting goes, I would suggest changing the layout of the awards section. I think using bulletpoints would help clean up the look of the section and allow for more concise reading. At this point I think the best thing to focus on is making sure everything is cited and cleaned up aesthetically. Sorenss (talk) 09:31, 14 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
