Robbinex
[edit]A tag has been placed on Robbinex, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Kolindigo 19:18, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
If there are no sources on Robbinex, that may be an insurmountable problem. Per WP:V, the standard for inclusion on Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth. We have a similar problem with college secret societies that claim they are notable but cannot provide sources. NawlinWiki 20:25, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on M&A Today, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note
on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Realkyhick 16:41, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
- Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from articles you have created yourself. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. Realkyhick 17:36, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:MandAlogo.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:MandAlogo.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Advertising and conflict of interest
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles. Advertising, and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox", is strongly discouraged. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. IrishGuy talk 16:41, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
Images
[edit]I have added the {{Non-free logo}} template to the following images: Image:Icfg logo.gif, Image:Robbinex Logo.gif, and Image:MandAlogo.jpg. This licensing information will delay the bots from deleting your images. However, this particular license requires a non-free use rationale corresponding to each Wikipedia page the image is used on. Please write a non-free use rationale for each of these images, or they will still be subject to deletion. Use the template below:
{{Non-free use rationale |Description= |Source= |Portion= |Low_resolution= |Purpose= |Replaceability= |other_information= }}
or see WP:NFURG for more details. See Image:Wachovia.gif for a well written non-free use rationale.

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Icfg logo.gif)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Icfg logo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 08:56, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:MandAlogo.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:MandAlogo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 09:20, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

The article Shareholder's discretionary cash flow has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Can't find a RS, for this appears to be possible subtle spam
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. The Resident Anthropologist (talk) 05:01, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
A discussion is taking place as to whether the article M&A Today is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/M&A Today until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. AleatoryPonderings (talk) 03:37, 18 August 2020 (UTC)
