[edit]Hi Mark Paauwe! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. |
Regarding the Dragon1 Page
[edit]Mark Paauwe (talk) 22:21, 13 January 2013 (UTC) Check out for instance this page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Integrated_Architecture_Framework about an architecture method too. I do not find this an advertisement. Please tell me what you think should be done to get your remark removed? Kind regards Mark Paauwe
Mark Paauwe (talk) 22:18, 13 January 2013 (UTC) Hello Helicopter Lama, The Dragon1--page is NOT meant as advertisement. It is just to inform about the open architecture method Dragon1. The Open Group is an independent organization of 400 companies which has recognized the method to be truely open. Also in the Netherlands a guide on comparing 8 methods was published where Dragon1 is included. And on the ISO-architecture website Dragon1 is mentioned as Architecture Method.
These three sources are all neutral on Dragon1.
So what else should I do so you will not find this an advertisement. Other pages of architecture methods are alike this page!
mail: mark@paauwe.info::
Mark,
I suppose that being an independent method, maybe "advertising" would be an incorrect tag. However, phrases such as "Dragon1 has a unique view of architects, architecture, structure, architecture principles, visualization of architecture and architecture design." don't exactly appear neutral to me, at least. I appreciate you coming to talk to me, it shows your integrity. But keep in mind that this is an online encyclopedia, a virtual factbook if you will, and to paraphrase Harper Lee, delete the adjectives and you'll have the facts.

UPDATE: I have read over your quick edits to the page, and it looks great, thanks for the rapid response! HelicopterLlama (talk) 21:11, 14 January 2013 (UTC)
AND ANOTHER UPDATE: I didn't have anything to do with the notability template, I just added the date to it. You'd have to consult with the person who added that template, and adding those sources is a really good idea to show its notability. Good luck with the article, hope it's not causing too much trouble! Helicopter Llama 16:10, 9 February 2013 (UTC)
