Your first edits
[edit]Good job adding yourself to your group ([1]). Please add your first name to the parenthesis that follow your edit so I know whose account it is. Keep up the good job, don't forget to carry out other parts of the assignment, and try making more edits on Wikipedia to get a feel for it! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk to me 23:22, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
Hello Marikathrynarnold,
I undid your last edit because you deleted a couple people from there group. --Nas132 (talk) 21:12, 7 September 2011 (UTC)
- Indeed, this edit seems to have been a mistake. I am not sure what you were trying to do; feel free to try again but make sure to use the preview and show changes buttons before saving it, to ensure it is indeed what you intended. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk to me 02:01, 8 September 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for leaving me a message ([2]). Since on Wikipedia we practice bottomposting, please move your message to the bottom of the talk page. Thank you, --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk to me 02:13, 8 September 2011 (UTC)
- Regarding your edit to User:Nas132, note that you have edited her userpage, instead of her talkpage. You should transfer that edit to her talkpage (don't forget to sign). Regarding your edits to our page, your first edit was mostly fine (I discussed it above), and your last edit even better, adding the pipe ("|"). The problem was your edit from earlier today, which as you can see was rather different (it seems you've restored an earlier version of the page...). Perhaps you were trying out the history tab? Note that if you edit an older revision and save it, it will overwrite (remove) all of the revisions (changes, edits) that has happened since then. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk to me 03:20, 8 September 2011 (UTC)
Your citation
[edit]This is a good start. You ask how find an article needing citations; in my experience 99% of Wikipedia articles have unreferenced sentences that need verification, but you could grab something from Category:Articles lacking sources if you want a directory of articles with a citation problems. Now, back to your edit, it will indeed need improvement, on several levels. First, you've added it as link in text, where you should be adding it as footnote with <ref></ref> templates, check the Wikipedia:Tutorial/Citing sources again for more on that, and check the new announcement I made on the courseweb with video links. Second, your source should confirm the facts of the sentence you add it to the end of; and the page you've added does not do so (this webpage seems to mention nothing about the new building). --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk to me 04:04, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
- This is better, but note that your reference should have author, name, and other information as requested on our wiki syllabus. If you want to add a Google Book citation, you may want to consider this tool ([3]), I find it very helpful. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk to me 15:48, 19 September 2011 (UTC)

You're Ridiculous
[edit]MK, I appreciate the beer; I enjoyed it a lot. Too bad I can't afford Deodorant: http://www.drugstore.com/speed-stick-by-mennen-deodorant-clear-solid-ocean-surf/qxp26286

References
[edit]It is up to you whether you want to use full or shortened references. You currently use full references and I am fine with that. With regards to your current references: please clarify page ranges; for example "pp. 13–" suggests it's pp. 13 to... what? If it's just 13, go to the ref template and change "|pages=13–" to "|page=13". If it is longer, add the missing end range. Two of your five sources (books) are missing page ranges. Once you fix that, the article references should be a pass. Keep up the good job! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk to me 01:23, 26 November 2011 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification
[edit]Hi. In Open relationship, you recently added a link to the disambiguation page Network (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

GA review
[edit]It seems to me that you've addressed everything, and your article should be a GA. The reviewer told me as much recently, so don't worry about the technicality of the review passed, I am going to treat it as a GA pass for the purpose of grading. Good job, --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk to me 16:17, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
- Just to add to what your teacher has already said, congrats on getting the article to GA status. That's not an easy task even for long-time editors, much less those who are new and taking this on only as an assignment. Well done! – RobinHood70 talk 18:05, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you so much for your help on the project. I can honestly admit that it was one of the most interesting learning experiences I have ever had. Marikathrynarnold (talk) 18:31, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks, it's always nice to hear that. I hope you'll find those skills and knowledge useful in the future! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk to me 21:06, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
