Hi. When you recently edited Outline of Catholicism, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Constantine (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Deleted Article: Economi Constraints on Media Freedom

[edit]

Hello Marikafragen, I understand that you finally deleted my article and I'm ok with that. But please, is there any way to see the last version because I haven't saved it yet and I would like to save the article at least on my computer - I'm not going to upload it again - promised! Thanks for your help--NinaLanger (talk) 07:39, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Outline of Bahá'í Faith, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Moreover, please add more verifiable sources, not only 3rd party sources. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. A:-)Brunuś (talk) 19:54, 6 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I generally simply remove the tag and provide a reason in the edit history. The Transhumanist 09:19, 9 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Saw what you did to this outline. Nice.

I made some refinements.

Your turn. The Transhumanist 09:08, 8 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. That took a lot of work (and dozens of little edits) - I seem to recall spending most of a day on that one.Marikafragen (talk) 01:49, 9 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It shows. By the way, there are some new links in the See also section waiting to be placed in the body of the outline. The Transhumanist 09:16, 9 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Outline of Baha'i Faith

[edit]

They speedy deleted my Outline of Baha'i Faith - the content of it can be seen at [1]. The reason given was A3 - no content. I'm not sure if I should contest it, or just wait a few months. I was offline for a couple of days, and they killed it. Thoughts?Marikafragen (talk) 01:26, 9 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the heads up. I've posted a message to the speedy admin at User talk:Malik Shabazz#Please undo your speedy of Outline of Baha'i Faith. Please feel free to join in on the discussion there. The more editors who express their concern, the better. The Transhumanist 03:56, 9 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Page restored. Was deleted by mistake.
Nice outline.
By the way, for future reference, to find out who speedy deleted an article, enter the article title in the search box, then click on the redlink provided. Above the edit window that appears, there will a message about it being previously deleted, with the identity of the speedy deleter. As in this case, the admin is usually happy to help solve any mistakes or problems. I'm glad I could help. Cheers. The Transhumanist 09:04, 9 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

They are on to that speedy deleter vandal...

[edit]

It looks like he's already being dealt with.

Thank you for the heads up. The Transhumanist 21:32, 24 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Cto has been nominated for deletion. Template:Cto creates a conditional topic overview linkbox for the See also section of an article with links to (1) the topic article, (2) the outline of the topic, (3) the index of topic-related articles, (4) the bibliography of the topic, and (5) the Wikipedia book on the topic. You are invited to comment on the discussion at Wikipedia:Templates for discussion#Template:Cto. Yours aye,  Buaidh  20:11, 12 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hunting for embedded outlines

[edit]

While you are reading or browsing Wikipedia articles, please...

...keep a lookout for outlines embedded in articles.

I've run across a number of these over the years. One example is the Outline of fencing, which used to be part of the fencing article.

If you know about or spot any structured general topics lists in articles, please let me know (on my talk page).

Another thing you might find are articles that are comprised mostly of lists (without "Outline of" or "List of" being in the article's title). If you come across any of these, please report them to me on my talk page. I'd sure like to take a look at them.

Happy hunting.

I look forward to "hearing" from you (on my talk page). Sincerely, The Transhumanist 08:10, 11 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
