Hello, Mariaabalu, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Kieaepelle (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who use multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. Velella Velella Talk 16:53, 10 July 2017 (UTC)

Request reason:
My wikipedia account mariaabalu was recently blocked on suspicion of sock puppetry. I understand the suspicion, but I do not agree with with all the accusations. I wanted to create a page on Pamela Abalu, and I am new to Wikipedia so I googled the process. I saw I could create a user page and I thought that was the method. So I made a pamela abalu user page, but it still wasn't a Wikipedia page that I could edit. Upon further research, I discovered how to do it and edit it once you search for the person's name and can create the page. So I made my own account to contribute to my first edits on Wikipedia because I became aware of Pamela's and eventually, Chinedu's, achievements and thought it would be nice for them to have a Wikipedia page for reference since they are involved in so much. My edits were constantly challenged - understandbale - and I even sought help or advice from other users to make my wording sounds less promotional because that was in no way my intention. It is my understanding anyone can edit wikipedia, so I don't know why I was linked to someone else's account other than what I have stated above. I have only been editing from mariaabalu. I am not familiar with all of wikipedia's policies as I am new to the platform. I find Wikipedia pages very helpful in my research and just thought it would be good to contribute to it. Like I said, I understand the reason for the block, and that's ok - we learn everyday. I would also appreciate any feedback or advice for editing Wikipedia properly. If not, that's also ok. These are great people that should be referenced and I do not want this to spoil things for them now or in the future, even if it means keeping the block - that's ok.
Decline reason:
This is just not credible. We know you have edited from the same computer as Kieaepelle (talk · contribs) and Pamela Abalu (talk · contribs) and given the overlap in edits and the fact that this account has edited Pamela Abalu, your claims just aren't believable. Combine that with your totally inappropriate contributions and it's very clear this account should remain blocked. Yamla (talk) 13:32, 15 July 2017 (UTC)
