Welcome!

[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! I have received a message from you regarding help on an "article" you have been working on, which seemed to me like a research paper outline, or something like that. I would like to explain a few things:

What you have been trying to do seems more like an original research on a subject rather than an entry on an encyclopedia, and as such it is not the right place for you to publish. If you are interested in the subject, I would highly recommend you to choose a career in an academic field which may allow you to pursue this kind of research. Or just go to your local University and have a chat with the Evolutionary biology department. Place for a research paper would be an academic journal which the Wikipedia is not. I hope you find the following information about wikipedia useful, I wish you good luck, and happy editing, should you decide to contribute to Wikipedia.

Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to The Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need personal help ask me on my talk page, or ask a question on your talk page. Again, welcome.  . --Darwinian Ape talk 06:49, 9 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
