[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Jennifer Sey has been reverted.
Your edit here to Jennifer Sey was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.facebook.com/jennifer.sey) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 23:23, 22 July 2020 (UTC)
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Jennifer Sey. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Taumata994 (talk) 23:26, 22 July 2020 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, MappieGoldberg. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Jennifer Sey, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Taumata994 (talk) 23:29, 22 July 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did at Jennifer Sey, you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. Taumata994 (talk) 23:32, 22 July 2020 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you use Wikipedia for promotion or advertising, as you did at Jennifer Sey. Taumata994 (talk) 23:37, 22 July 2020 (UTC)

Request reason:
Please unblock me, as I mentioned earlier I am a new user and was unaware of all the rules. I am looking to update Jennifer Sey's bio to current state as well as correct many of the inaccuracies currently listed. I am exploring a wikipedia expert, but by no means was I trying to use this for advertising or promotion...just a very green user. MappieGoldberg (talk) 18:18, 23 July 2020 (UTC)
Accept reason:
Your block has expired. @Ohnoitsjamie: because of the mismatch between block time and notice. -- Amanda (aka DQ) 03:06, 26 July 2020 (UTC)

- In order to be unblocked you would need to make full disclosures in compliance with WP:PAID and you would be blocked from editing the article page directly in order to ensure requested edits are made on the article talk page. Note that the majority of the edits you attempted to make would not be accepted if requested on the talk page as they are blatantly promotional in nature.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 18:24, 23 July 2020 (UTC)
Help Editing a Bio | Jennifer Sey
[edit]This help request has been answered. If you need more help, you can , contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page, or consider visiting the Teahouse. |
I am looking to have someone read the bio prior to making any updates to ensure the details listed are in accordance with Wikipedia rules and regulations. Is there someone I can share the edit with on a word doc (perhaps attach it here) or within Wikipedia? Thanks for your help and patience. Still learning. The bio is incomplete and lists many incorrect details. Thank you.

- MappieGoldberg, you can make an edit request on the article talk page (Talk:Jennifer_Sey) using the edit request wizard: Wikipedia:Edit Request Wizard. This will allow someone to review your changes, and then implement them into the article if appropriate (I'm assuming you have a conflict of interest. Is that correct?) Sam-2727 (talk) 17:37, 7 August 2020 (UTC)
Hello Sam-2727 Still not sure if I am doing this right. Thank you for the answer above. How would I know if I have a conflict of interest. I don't believe I do, but can you direct me to the page that might detail out that information? Thank you, --MappieGoldberg (talk) 19:46, 10 August 2020 (UTC)
