Welcome
[edit]Hello, Mantrafilms, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I notice that one of the first articles you have edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been reverted for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of deletion, you might like to draft your article before submission, then ask me or any other editor to proofread it. To start creating a draft article, just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit that page as you would any other. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
The one firm rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing.
If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}}

[edit]Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Joe Francis, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Falcon,
I explained my removal of the following statement on the Joe Francis discussion page:
"In 2002, Becky Lynn Gritzke discovered that she had been covertly filmed flashing her breasts at a Mardi Gras festival and that the image had been used without her permission on billboards advertising Girls Gone Wild videos and on the cover of a video. She sued Mantra Films and settled for an undisclosed sum under an agreement according to which GGW agreed to cease distributing all material bearing Gritzke's image.[14]"
I removed this because when you click on the source (citation #14 cnn.com) It says that the web page cannot be found. I believe this is a valid reason to remove this statement from his page due to the fact the source does not exist. Please consider this. Thank you. Mantrafilms (talk) 23:16, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
Falcon,
What happened? I thought we were cool? :( Why did EVERYTHING revert back? I thought this was a work in progress? Even when I make modifications on Joe Francis' page I always post them on the talk/discussion page thing to justify the edits. Please work with me on this. Joe does not believe his life should be defined by legal matters especially when a lot of these charges get dropped or dismissed. Please tell me how to go about this before I loose my job. You cooperation and professionalism is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Mantrafilms (talk) 19:10, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
- Only your most recent edits were reverted, and those were just the picture change. See [1]. Falcon8765 (talk) 00:00, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
Sorry this is super confusing... I haven't changed the picture in over a month and i thought it was cool w the free license and all. Do you know what happened to his second picture? Any chance we can get rid of the statement about Beck Gretzy. THe source for the site cannot be found. THanks again! Mantrafilms (talk) 02:33, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah the whole site cna be pretty confusing if you aren't used to it. Don't know why the second picture was removed, but I'm not familiar with the image style policies. The Beck Gretzy thing has a reliable source, the link is just broken. News websites often don't archive their online stories so the links rot after a while. I googled it and found references to the CNN story from other sources to confirm that the story actually existed. Falcon8765 (talk) 11:04, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
Yes I am trying to learn the policies and go about doing this the right way, where can I get information on how to put the other picture back on? Mantrafilms (talk) 15:25, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
