Hi, thanks, I have made it so now you can select the language code wikipedia you want to check, it seems to work as desired. Martin 15:55, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

The default is en, just delete that and type the language code you want to search de, fr, th.... Martin 16:26, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

Re: Thank you

Khun Manop, thanks a lot for your note, and please know that I didn't mean to be offensive in any way when I criticised your enunciation!! Really, I only replaced it because for some reason the first syllable was absent from the file. And thanks also for pointing out Taksin the Great — I will do as you asked. I'm not extremely proud of my voice either, though I tried my best to sound acedemic! Cheers, Trisdee 02:19, 7 March 2006 (UTC)

Google Analytics

I saw a screenshot of Google Analytics th:ภาพ:Google Analytics.png in the Thai Wikipedia. Is that for traffic to Wikipedia or for some other sites? If it's for Wikipedia, did you add the user-tracking code to all pages in the Thai Wikipedia? Thanks. DHN 01:48, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

Collation

Hello, I saw that you were concerned with collation. We have a similar problem at Greek Wikipedia and Wikisource that accented characters are sorted at the beginning and the end instead of together with unaccented ones. See: s:el:Κατηγορία:Θρησκευτικά_κείμενα. What is the best way to fix this? If you have an idea it would be nice to contact me.   Andreas   (T) 19:24, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the invite

I regret to say I can't read Thai, nor do I speak Thai very much. But I do appreciate the thought, and I'm grateful for any contributions by Thais on the English-language Wikipedia. Kap Khun Khrup. - Wisekwai 12:45, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

I am watching the English article Xiaolin Showdown, and this morning someone interwikied to the article on the Thai Wikipedia. I saw that the Thai page is using the same image in the infobox on the Thai Wikipedia as they are on the English Wikipedia, and the image is not shared on the commons. The image is th:ภาพ:T6mxiaolinshowdown-1-.jpg or Image:T6mxiaolinshowdown-1-.jpg. If you could, could you please help me discern the copyright status of the image, as I am unsure if the Fair-Use is used on the Thai Wikipedia, and I am unable to read the Thai copyright tag. Ryūlóng 07:14, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

But it is neither manga nor anime. It is an American animated series. Ryūlóng 08:04, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

Image Tagging for Image:Thai garuda.png

Thanks for uploading Image:Thai garuda.png. However, the copyright tag you've used is deprecated or obsolete, and should not be used. This could be because the tag is inaccurate or misleading, or because it does not adequately specify the copyright status of the image. For a list of copyright tags that are in current use, see the "Public domain", "Free license", and "Fair use" sections of Wikipedia:Image copyright tags.

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 04:06, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

Request for a Thai translator

Manop, your Thai fluency could be helpful at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sinbi Taewoong. We are trying to determine if a Thai kickboxer is notable. Thanks.--Kchase T 07:29, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

Count and analysis of wikipedia edits

Its actually not that hard to do a count and analysis of your wikipedia edits, without having to rely on somebody else's counter. Just copy your contribution history over into Microsoft Excel and count the number of rows. To see a histogram of your edits by article, use Text-to-Column, concatenate the resulting article names, add a counter to each row, throw it all into a Pivot Table, and then make a histogram chart of the result. Please clarify, I don't get what your point is ? --Manop - TH 06:07, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

Novial pronunciation

Hi,

I'll look for the IPA transcripion and post it here. Meanwhile:

3 syllables: nov-i-al

with stress on the last syllable. The sounds are as they look in, say, Italian and Spanish.

Thanks very much for the Thai translation and flag!!

Nov ialiste 19:53, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

This is the IPA transcription: [novi’al]. Nov ialiste 20:41, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Erawan Shrine

The Erawan Shrine accusation was a serious accusation made in a PAD protest by a PAD leader, at the height of the Thai political crisis. It should be mentioned in the articles on Sondhi Limthongkul (he made the accusation), Thailand political crisis 2005-2006, and People's Alliance for Democracy articles. As for Thaksin Get Out, maybe it should, maybe it shouldn't - nobody has explained to me what the scope of that page should be, other than a grab bag of Sondhi/PAD/anti-Thaksin rhetoric. It doesn't need to be in the {{Thai crisis 2005-2006}} template because it wasn't one of the most significant events. Patiwat 08:39, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

That sounds fun to me though. Maybe you should add Seria A accusation somewhere in the article. It's related somehow. Six-degree of me
Thaksin is Thai people --> Thai people loves FA Premier League --> they play in UEFA Champions League --> Serie A Teams play in Champions League too --> 2006 Serie A scandal. So Thaksin causes 2006 Serie A scandal :) --Manop - TH 16:09, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

Pronunciation of "Marseille"

I saw you edit the article Olympique de Marseille. So I guess you might be able to help me. I'm wondering what the pronunciation of the team is, Mar-say [maʀsɛj] or Mark-say [mɑxˈsɛjɐ], thanks --Manop - TH 22:14, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

Being native born English, my French pronunciation is not very good, but I think your first suggestion is closer. The article on the city of Marseille says it is pronounced /maʀsɛj/ (Unfortunately my keyboard cannot replicate the phonetic symbols!) Sorry I can't be of more help

Daemonic Kangaroo 05:38, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

Just echoing this really: I have no idea of the proper pronunciation. Mk3severo 14:30, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

Interwiki bot

Hi! I noticed that you are listed as running an interwiki bot here. If it is still active, and you are editing alphabetically, please visit WikiProject Interwiki, which I created as a project to coordinate the bots to decrease overlap. If you like the idea, sign up there and visit Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Proposals#Interwiki to let me know you'll join up. You can also say that you're working on a section in User:ST47/WikiProject Interwiki/Assignments, then follow the directions there when you've finished. If the sections I've made are too large, feel free to split one up. Thanks! ST47Talk 11:42, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
