Speedy deletion of New World Orphans
[edit]A tag has been placed on New World Orphans requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Dekisugi (talk) 08:56, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
Hi. I noticed that you uploaded a photograph of the band on Commons. The image currently doesn't have a license, and may be deleted if one is not added. I suggest GFDL if you are the copyright owner. (Ibaranoff24 (talk) 15:59, 18 November 2008 (UTC))
- Hi. Sorry for taking so long to answer your question. I did not notice it as you had posted it in an uncreated archive. Simply sign into your Commons account and replace the license with {{GFDL}}. Once again, apologies for not getting back to you sooner! (Ibaranoff24 (talk) 21:17, 26 November 2008 (UTC))
- Hello again. I must ask you not to add material that could be construed as advertising. Wikipedia exists as a form of information, not as promotional material. Thanks. (Ibaranoff24 (talk) 18:23, 22 November 2008 (UTC))
- Sorry, maybe that was going a little too far. But breaking material off into a new section about an unreleased album could be misconstrued as advertising. I'd also advise against sourcing information through fan sites. By the way, I find it very difficult to read the messages you send me in their current placement. When you respond to one of my questions, please post on the main talk page by clicking "new section". That way, it will be easier for me to read what you write to me. Thanks. Orphaned non-free image File:NWOhedred.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:NWOhedred.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 05:22, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Hello, Manofthehour1. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Jaxon Benge, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. In this case, the references are dead, Myspace refers to the home page and the other site is defunct. If you don't want Jaxon Benge to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.
If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.
Thanks, Cotton2 (talk) 09:04, 25 July 2016 (UTC)
