Tabarian culture

Hello Wario man. We have an Article in wikifa kalled: Tabarian culture. We used Persian references to make that. I suggest you to make it in wikien. But it's just a suggest. Thank you. Happy Christmas. Mehdi Parkuhi (talk) 16:41, 14 January 2021 (UTC)

if you can read Persian and translate that; you can translate. Mehdi Parkuhi (talk) 16:42, 14 January 2021 (UTC)

Al-Tabari

With regards to your edit on Altabari's article, reference 3 in the article indeed states the following: There is thus no way of knowing for certain whether Ṭabari’s family was native to the Āol region or perhaps arrived with the wave of Muslim colonists after the Abbasid revolution, either as converts or Arab settlers. It is one of the references stating the Arab origin possibility, which is how I actually learned about it.

Furthermore, the the Encyclopedia of Islam states the following:, whether the family was of indigenous stock or descended from Arab colonists in Tabaristan is unknown

Please let me know what you think about these possible edits given you voiced a different opinion about reference 3 in particular. Moor9119 (talk) 21:44, 11 March 2021 (UTC)

@Moor9119: I will write my opinion on Talk:Al-Tabari. Wario-Man talk 05:59, 12 March 2021 (UTC)

Mickie James WWE

Why change my submission for wwe wrestler Mickie James? I corrected it to her being on smacking, she is listed as a smackdown wrestler on wwe.com 23limegreen (talk) 02:43, 23 March 2021 (UTC)

@23limegreen: See 2020 WWE Draft#Free agents => Mickie James: Raw. Sometimes there are errors on wwe.com; e.g. they forgot to update the superstars section and brands. So you need to find a reliable source to prove your point. If you think James is a SmackDown wrestler (confirmed by a reliable source), then discuss it on Talk:Mickie James. You can find a list of reliable sources on WP:PW/Sources. Cheers! Wario-Man talk 04:28, 23 March 2021 (UTC)

Asuka entry

Hello, could you please clarify why the recent changes made to the Asuka (wrestler) entry were reverted? The reference with the link to her YouTube page mentioned at the end of the introductory section is no longer there, and if this is about Dave Meltzer, that is truly ridiculous, since Meltzer demonstrably spreads false information and is not respected by anyone in the wrestling industry who he's not friends with.

@67.188.78.88: Hi. The link to her YT channel is already is in the body of article: Asuka_(wrestler)#Other_media. The lead section does not require linking to someone's official website or social media accounts. For Meltzer's stuff, go to Talk:Asuka (wrestler). Open a new section and provide your reason/rationale why you think we should remove his opinion from the lead section. You need to get consensus for removing it or moving it to the other sections of article. Wario-Man talk 15:53, 14 April 2021 (UTC)

Nikki Cross

Hi, would you kindly see these edits by the IP. Looks un-encyclopedic and full of overlinks. Thanks. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 09:32, 16 April 2021 (UTC)

@Fylindfotberserk: Hi. That IP-user just broke WP:PW/MOS. If the article lacks important events/matches of Nikki Cross' career, you better expand it. Because IP-users' edits may be GF but they usually add weekly stuff or unnecessary details. Wario-Man talk 13:28, 16 April 2021 (UTC)

Hi there, Wario-Man! I don't believe we've interacted directly before. I'm KyleJoan. Pleased to make to your acquaintance! I see you've already been notified about bypassing redirects, but I'd like to remind you that doing so makes the article more difficult to read in page source form. In addition, since refs in the body are generally there to support information in prose, those refs should remain there rather than be moved to the infobox per WP:INFOBOXREF. I hope all of that is clear. Thank you, and stay safe! KyleJoantalk 02:02, 25 April 2021 (UTC)

Good luck on Central Asia talk page

Out of all the years I have been on this site I have never seen someone get so upset over being wrong. I dont know rather to laugh or feel sorry for the User.--Fruitloop11 (talk) 00:28, 16 June 2021 (UTC)

Well, he/she has already turned that discussion into a wall of text. Wario-Man talk 08:07, 18 June 2021 (UTC)

harmonize whitespace in citation templates by script

Hey, can you explain “harmonize whitespace in citation templates by script” that you put in the Asuka page? I’m fairly new to editing so I don’t wanna make another mistake. ReignsKing (talk) 19:15, 19 July 2021 (UTC)

@ReignsKing: You didn't make any mistake. That script just adds/removes spaces in a Cite template for readability. For example:
  • Format 1 cite web|url=|title=|... (no spaces)
  • Format 2 cite web |url= |tile= |... (spaces)
Both formats are good but I prefer 2 for readability. Since all citations on Asuka use format 2, I used the script to harmonize your addition with the rest of article. Your edits are on that specific article are OK. But you added[2] an unreliable source (Sportskeeda) to Charlotte Flair. Replace it with a reliable one. See WP:PW/Sources for a list of reliable and unreliable sources. Plus see WP:PW/SG for the style guide. Wario-Man talk 02:42, 20 July 2021 (UTC)

RE

You're really lucky. I don't use to be so explicit with the edit summaries XD Just kidding, the idea is to show that, on April 2011, World Wrestling Entertainment changed the name to WWE. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 14:19, 30 December 2021 (UTC)

@HHH Pedrigree: Ha Ha Ha. Yeah, I got your point after reading your edit summaries and the relevant content on WWE. I thought that "/" was an old formatting leftover on those articles. Glad that I didn't rush editing other articles with similar headings and section titles. Mann Mann (talk) 17:28, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
