Sponge flies
[edit]Thanks for this interesting item you added to Sponge. I think there are a couple of things you need to improve:
- when citing books you need to give the page number(s), and preferably use {{cite book}}.
- I found p 23 of the book at Google Books, and that page says nothing about pupae or about elongated mouthparts sucking fluids. You need to stick exactly to what the source says. Of course you may have been referring to a different page - which is why you must specify it. Best wishes, --Philcha (talk) 16:02, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Your recent addition is interesting. However the ref must specify page number(s) and preferably should use {{cite book}}. The artilce is in the queue for wp:GAN GA review, and if the reviwer complains about these points, I will simply remove your addition, since I don't have the book and, to be honest, I don't like doing others' chores. But I'd rather you fixed the ref. --Philcha (talk) 11:51, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
Your edits
[edit]Hi Mandrake76, please could you re-visit all of the edits you have made based on the book you are using as a source and cite the source properly as others have noted above. You must do this if you want your additions to survive. It's mandatory. Thanks. Sean.hoyland - talk 02:12, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
