Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Embedded Parallel Operating System - EPOS. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Embedded Parallel Operating System. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Embedded Parallel Operating System – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Francophonie&Androphilie (Je vous invite à me parler) 13:53, 14 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I saw how you edited or created Embedded Parallel Operating System, and I noticed that the username you have chosen, "Manager lisha", seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of something other than yourself. Please note that you may not edit on behalf of a company, group, institution, product, or website, and Wikipedia does not allow usernames that are promotional or have the appearance of shared use. If you are willing to use a personal account, please take a moment to create a new account or request a username change that represents only yourself as an individual. You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and remember that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because it appears to be mainly intended for publicity and/or promotional purposes. Please read the following carefully.
Why can't I edit Wikipedia?

Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, website or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements, and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but such groups are generally discouraged from using Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.

Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?

Probably not. See Wikipedia's FAQ for Organizations for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, organization, or clients. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit again. Consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

What can I do now?

If you have no interest in writing about some other topic than your organization, group, company, or product, you will probably not be allowed to edit Wikipedia again. Consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

If you do intend to make useful contributions about some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:

  • Add the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} on your user talk page.
  • Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.
  • Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 17:54, 14 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Requested username:

Request reason:

I understood the reason why my first user was blocked and now I am proposing change my user name to create a personal user, and not a general user. However, my intention was misunderstood. I don't want promote the group, but the idea of a Lab which develops research and also I want to show the publications to spread knowledge. It is very easy to find many groups and other laboratories similar to lisha or epos in the wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laboratory_of_Molecular_Biology or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medical_laboratory, we can also find about institutions, universities. All of these articles are promoting them? Yes, in a way, but are also spreading interesting things for some people. I don't want to write only about the lab, I also hope to contribute with other articles about different things if I have my personal user, but I think that when you are citing something you are in a way or another promoting someone because many good things that are published in wikipedia were done by people, you can't cite one without relate another, even without intention. I hope I can have my user unblocked.

Decline reason:

Parts of your unblock request are unclear and difficult to follow, but as far as I can make out your reasons are as follows: (1) Writing "to show the publications" of an organisation and "to spread knowledge" of it is not writing to promote. Yes it is. (2) Other promotional article exist in Wikipedia, therefore it must be all right for you to create promotional articles. See WP:OTHERSTUFF, which is aimed at use of that sort of reasoning to oppose deletion rather than in unblock requests, but the same principles apply. (3) You can't write about anything without implicitly promoting it. Yes you can. There are many articles on Wikipedia that could not by any stretch of the imagination be regarded as promoting their subjects. If you sincerely cannot imagine writing about an organisation in a way that doesn't implicitly promote it, then that is a good reason why you should not edit Wikipedia. (4) If unblocked, you will not write only about the organisation you represent. That is the one part of your unblock request which goes some way towards justifying an unblock. However, you need to replace "only" with "at all". JamesBWatson (talk) 10:38, 22 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
