Welcome with a new section
[edit](Note how I used the "New section" tab to start a new topic. If you are on a mobile phone, use the "what's on your mind" prompt to write a headline like in a newspaper. But it is not really important, just makes it easier to get round),
Don't worry if your English is not perfect, what you say is more important than how you say it. You are not at all unusual!
Wikipedia's coverage of Africa [excuse me if I have made a lazy assumption about your name] is not great, so any new material you can contribute will be very welcome. However the most important thing is that you must not contribute your personal opinion (see policy WP:No original research), everything you write must be supported by a citation – you must show the source of your information: newspapers, books and so on.
I sent you the welcome message because I noticed that you had edited an article that I watch (tagged by the little blue star on the second row. That was how I noticed that you had made a tiny typing error that was trivial to fix.
Again, welcome! --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 20:46, 24 July 2019 (UTC)
