Your note
[edit]Thank you for your note on my talk page. I figured you were mostly providing links to French articles, but thought you would appreciate a welcome anyway - it all helps build the encyclopedia! No problem with French remarks, most of us can figure them out, especially those of us from Canada, where French is one of our two main languages! I am no longer an active glider pilot, but I did start most of the articles on the Schweizer sailplanes and other aircraft as listed at Template:Schweizer aircraft. - Ahunt (talk) 13:24, 23 November 2010 (UTC)
I've just seen your question at the Teahouse. In my opinion, the draft should be moved to mainspace, I considered moving it myself, but I would prefer a more experienced editor, or one with some knowledge of meteorology, to make the move.
I do have two comments on the draft.
- It is inconsistent in its italicisation of genus and species names for clouds. I don't know what the rules for italicisation are, but I assume that there are some, and that they should be applied consistently; or, of there are no rules, the names should be left in roman. (I was trained as a biologist, I do know the rules for italicising biological genus and species names, and I often correct them in Wikipedia articles.)
- The phrase "As said supra" is unusual in English, we would usually write "as said above". But, more important, it goes against the policy of en:Wikipedia. One day, someone may rewrite what was said above, making this reference to it invalid. Maproom (talk) 09:26, 1 September 2016 (UTC)
- I've moved it to mainspace. Maproom (talk) 13:59, 1 September 2016 (UTC)
